Coach Certification

Certified Professional Coach AUS

In collaboration with our affiliate partner, Antioch University Seattle, a joint certificate program is available. In addition to all the courses in the Certified Professional Coach program described in the previous section, the joint certificate program offers participants an opportunity to learn and apply the principles of professional coaching toward a social justice focus in a local community, supporting an otherwise underserved population that will benefit from receiving professional coaching.

Adding the context of social justice as the domain for applying the art, science and practice of professional coaching prepares participants to sustain engagement with these populations after program completion. An Independent Applied Learning experience is planned and completed over a four to six month period with the support of a dedicated faculty member functioning in an advisory capacity every step of the way. Depending on the project design, the experience may also satisfy some of the Coaching Mastery requirements (for a personal project) and strengthen competence in serving community through professional coaching.

The sequence of the training is largely the same, with the addition of an Independent Applied Learning experience done concurrently with other courses. Participants generally begin the Applied Learning Experience after completing Essentials of Professional Coaching and before beginning Coaching Mastery.

The tuition for this joint certificate program is $12,000. Upon completion, participants will receive a Certificate of Completion from Antioch University Seattle and inviteCHANGE.
