This highly interactive advanced coaching skills course is intended for ACTP-school certified and/or ICF-credentialed professional coaches seeking competence in coaching groups and teams inside an organizational system.
A 2 ½ day group course is followed by 2 bi-weekly tele-courses.
Groups, of which teams are a subset type, demonstrate a developmental process, unique dynamics and a co-creative field that enriches and provides a platform from which to become an effective group. To become a masterful coach with a group or a team, it is critical to be proficient in both the coaching core competencies and group process work in order to realize results. Group and team coaching is the interface of the coaching paradigm and group process in service of organizational outcomes.
Participants will experientially explore the expansion of skills essential for navigating group development processes, group dynamics and the group field so that group members raise the quality and speed of decision-making. Teams, as a sub-set of groups, will also be explored with particular emphasis upon navigating organizational stakeholders and competing responsibilities of team members.
The participatory nature of the course along with personalized mentoring encourages rapid skill development and preparation for immediate application.
