Business Development Professionals

inviteCHANGE is looking for four Business Development professionals to lead our sales and marketing initiatives.  This position is available on a remote or virtual basis with occasional travel for attendance at business management meetings.  The company is based at 110 W. Dayton Street, Suite 202, Edmonds, WA 98020 and offers training and services globally.

inviteCHANGE has four customer divisions providing coach training, management development, leadership development and personal development workshops as well as coaching services for individuals, teams and organizations. Our leading technologies – and our ability to apply them in customized delivery to match adult learning preferences and timing – create high value for our customers.

This is a business development position which will focus on attracting, creating and developing inviteCHANGE customer relationships.  We are seeking candidates for each of the following lines of business:

Coach Training (East Coast Market)

Desired customers are individuals with a passion for working with people to maximize potential and generate effective, productive, satisfying lives.  Prospective customers recognize the profession of coaching as a career vehicle through which to create empowering results for others and value the importance of quality competency development paired with important business development learning in order to succeed as an entrepreneur and/or employment as a coach inside an organization.

Continuing Coaching Education (All Locations)

Desired customers are individuals who have achieved coach certification from an International Coach Federation accredited training program and/or have achieved an ICF credential and seek advanced skills development to satisfy continuing coach education requirements and, more importantly grow their coaching business by expanding the tools and resources they can offer as coach. 

Training for Organizations (All Locations)

Desired customers operate inside organizations and are seeking solutions to a wide range of human development initiatives such as high-potential leadership development, management development for front line supervisors, talent management and succession planning initiatives, team leadership and team effectiveness, process improvement and creating high collaboration and empowerment cultures

Personal Development (All Locations)

Desired customers are individuals who are in a time of life transition, by choice or otherwise who recognize the benefit of investing time to discover who they are, what they love and what is important to their lives and then learn how to create and sustain that personal vision and purpose over time.

Company expectations are that the ideal candidates enthusiastically accept accountability for generating sales and marketing strategy, objectives and tactics that will meet and exceed enrollment goals and company service quality standards for participant satisfaction. Scope of Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement sales and marketing strategy for the life cycle of a customer; lead generation, acquisition, relationship development and customer satisfaction.
  • Generate and execute tactical plans; refine continuously to address new opportunities and course correct for changes in the market or our products.
  • Maintain customer pipeline reporting.
  • Actively participate in the preparation of registration and/or contract proposals.
  • Facilitate enrollment and/or negotiate engagement contracts on behalf of the company.
  • Handle special projects, as assigned including facilitation of Ambassador Circle representatives who contribute to company sales and marketing campaigns.

  • Be committed to customer service with an innate ability to exercise initiative in developing prospective customer relationships.

Education/Experience Requirements

Be complete with at least an Associate degree and 5 years successful work experience and proven track record in sales and/or marketing position with an emphasis on training, organization development, human potential or coaching services in at least the United States market.

Completion of some coach skills training highly valued and completion of certification and/or an ICF credential a big plus.  Working cross-culturally and language proficiency in Spanish or French will create additional opportunities.

Compensation & Support

As an entrepreneurial, growth-oriented company we reward all associates for contribution to enrollment, including sales across lines of business.  This position is primarily commission based with a nominal salary plus telephone, equipment and travel expenses. 

During the probationary, first 90 days of employment, candidates will be paid a draw against commission in recognition of the importance for learning and implementing new systems. 

You will be offered extensive training and coaching including access to all programs for which you will have sales and marketing responsibility.  The position will report directly to the Vice President in charge of the line of business you will represent; this affords excellent leadership development opportunities. Growth is rewarded through an escalating bonus system based on results in excess of targets. In addition to the direct reporting relationship, sales and marketing process tools and resources are available through the Administration group personnel on a collaborative, as desired basis.
